The wine estate of Castiglianchio is set atop a hill with extensive views across the Tuscan countryside and was originally a fortified settlement dating back to the 12th Century.
This is a large villa which has been lovingly restored and accommodation is Tuscan farmhouse style both in the main building and sympathetically restored farm buildings set amongst olive groves and vineyards.
There are weekly guided tours around the wine estate, cellars and museum which include tasting of the wines and local produce.
Situated on a hillside in Rosano 16 kilometres from Florence. The Fattoria di Castiglionchio offers studio, one, two and three bedroom accommodation.
Please note that a refundable damage deposit of €100 is payable on arrival.
