The mountains situated behind El Capistrano Villages are classified as National Wildlife Park.
As all properties are privately owned, the apartments and villas within this extensive urbanisation vary in size and style, Capistrano complexes are situated 1 km away from Nerja and the beach.
Due to the layout and number of steps within the urbanisation it may not be suitable for those with mobility problems or wheelchairs.
All the houses are similar:-
1 bedroom maisonnettes (sleeping up to 3) and 2 bedroom maisonnettes (sleeping up to 5) with a twin or double room, a single sofa and pullout bed, bath, shower, w.c., kitchenette (electric oven and fridge) and balcony/terrace or small garden.
